How to make a snowflake from a disk and tinsel. New Year

New Year is coming! Everyone is looking for gifts and decorations for the holiday. Someone buys ready-made, someone makes it with their own hands. Educators surf the Internet in search of ideas for crafts with children and decorations for groups. I offer my own version of manufacturing snowflakes uncomplicated and inexpensive. A little fantasy, unnecessary discs and food foil... The idea came up when I started doing crafts from foil... Colleagues were inspired. I tried to do with children in middle group... We worked individually. I think that for older children and preparatory groups cope on their own.

For work, you need food foil, CD disc(or two if doing double-sided snowflake.

Step 1. From cut foil strips... One snowflake 8-9 strips will be required (the length of the strip is equal to the width of the roll foil, width is about 5 cm.)

Step 2. Twist the strips foil to wire.

Step 3. In the middle insert disk one by one"wire" and, twist at the edge disk... We do this with all the "procrastination".

Step 4. We twist the "wire", taking two adjacent antennae. So we continue to the end, until all the antennae are twisted.

Now almost every house has old discs that no one needs (CDs, DVDs). I also had a whole stack. And I, since the New Year is coming soon, decided to make very necessary New Year decorations from unnecessary discs. I suggest you do too New Year's wreath from old discs.

For new year wreath I chose CDs. Because the working (shiny) surface does not shine blue like DVDs.

Work description

I didn't have a large piece of cardboard and had to glue the 4-piece ring together. By the way, this ring can be made from plywood and foam. In general, who has what.

Then, using a glue gun, glue the first row of discs.

Then, on top of the first row, glue the second row of CDs.

At the back we glue a ribbon (ribbon, cords) so that there is something to hang our wreath for.

We have got a blank, ready for decoration.

You can decorate such a wreath in different ways - Christmas toys, rain, tinsel, snowflakes. You can just paint the discs.

When new year wreath you have decorated, you need to take an electric one christmas garland and secure around the wreath. Such a decoration will look very beautiful, shimmering with all the colors of the rainbow on the door, and on the window, and just on the wall.

Let's start with the simplest thing - the decor of the old disc with ordinary stained glass paint. In terms of manufacturing, such a craft is quite simple, but outwardly you can't tell. You will need stained glass paints and imagination. You can draw both abstract ornaments or mandalas, and real story pictures. It will be a little more difficult christmas craft from disks, decorated with applications. The easiest option is colored paper applique.
